How to update DSTTi to work with DSi 1.4 firmware

If you are sure your DSi firmware version is 1.4 then proceed as below, otherwise click DSi category on our blog to check your DSi firmware.
You will need these to update your DSTTi Card:
- DSi Console with Firmware lower than 1.4X (1.4E, 1.4J, 1.4U & 1.4A) e.g 1.3 or 1.2 OR
- DS Lite Console
- DSTTi Card and a Micro sd loaded with Standard Firmware ( download and unzip 1.17 here )
- DSTTi Update for DSi 1.4 ( get it here )
Process:
- Unzip ‘TTi14UPGRADE_rel_rar‘ you will then have three files:
rom_pcb1.dat
rom_pcb2.dat
TTi14UPGRADE.nds - Copy these three files to the root of the Micro SD card ( which is already loaded with unzipped 1.17 download)
- Place the Micro SD back into the DSTTi Card and insert into DSL/DSi Console ( Not 1.4)
- Make sure your DSL/ DSi ( Not 1.4). console is fully charged as it may take upto 15 minutes.
- Select the Firmware file TTi14UPGRADE.nds
- Follow the on screen instructions (Press X + Y to update)
- Completed! You now have a working DSTTi with DSi Firmware 1.4
